Geopark information center
The grotte de Lorette-Rochefort, a geosite and Geopark partner, has been home to the Geopark Information Centre since 2023.
This central reception point allows visitors to get to know our Famenne-Ardenne Geopark, its riches and its potential.
On display outside the reception building are an archaeological scale, a geological scale and a number of visual displays on geology, flora and fauna, traditions and heritage.

Also on show is the film ‘Geopark, an open book on the climate’, focusing on climate change and the floods of July 2021.
The Earth is full of information about climate. In Belgium, the Famenne-Ardenne region is no exception. It is for this very reason that scientific operators have been able to create a Geopark, labelled by UNESCO since April 2018.
It's an area where the world's citizens can learn more about the geosciences, and be warned of the dangers of climate change...
The Geopark Information Centre is accessible during the opening hours of the Lorette-Rochefort cave.
