The Caves of Han : descend into the entrails of the earth!
From centre of the village of Han-sur-Lesse, a small picturesque tram will take you to the entrance of the caves.
Multilingual guides will help you discover a diversity of chambers, each one more entrancing than the last. You will be enchanted by the superb Minaret and the fascinating Mystérieuses, but also by the awe-inspiring Arms hall with its spellbinding son et lumière as well as the huge Dome hall with its stunning new lighting.
You will definitely understand why the green Michelin guide awarded three stars to this beautiful cave!
Tickets : in the centre of the village, opposite the church, in the entrance hall.
Departures : the tram located next to the cafeteria at the far end of the entrance hall. Be careful as the trams leave right on time! 4 km ride by tram. The exit of the Cave is located at 500metres from the village (at about 5 minutes walking distance).
Note : the temperature is cool all year round (about 13°C-54°F) and the air is extremely humid. You would be well advised to bring a warm overcoat or woolly sweater. During the tour you will encounter about 400 steps, these are scattered throughout the tour and are not tiring and make the tour accessible to anybody. It's also better if you leave your push-chairs at the luggage counter.
