This typical Famenne village located in the council of Wellin has a charming built heritage, with traditional houses built in a similar style. The village boasts several authentic and old-fashioned farmhouses, an old rectory, as well as a lovely church.
The Saint Bartholomew church was built in 1767 as a replacement for the old village church. It houses several pieces of 18th century church furniture (altar, pulpit, pews and stations of the cross), even some rather remarkable Gothic baptismal fonts.
Behind the church, archeological digs revealed the remains of the former village church. And the Merovingian necropolis nearby has not yet revealed all of its secrets...
