What is it you do?
"The castle of Lavaux-Saint-Anne is a listed major heritage site of the Walloon region, one of Wallonia's most famous monuments and a symbol of the Famenne region. Visitors can explore the castle both indoors, consisting of 32 decorated and furnished rooms and three museums, and outdoors, featuring an eco-zone walk and a deer park."
What prompted you to seek "Famenne-Ardenne UNESCO Global Geopark Partner" status?
"Becoming a Famenne-Ardenne UNESCO Global Geopark partner means playing our part in preserving this beautiful region, protecting its environment and showcasing its natural treasures. As a mark of recognition, it will help us safeguard and sustain these gifts of nature."
What is your approach to sustainable development and environment friendly practices?
"We replace our light bulbs with LED equivalents, and no pesticides are used in the gardens. And we make every effort to reduce unnecessary waste (of paper, water and electricity)."
