What is it you do?
"Nature on the line! Visit RIVEO, in Hotton, to find out more about the river and its natural environment, thanks to direct observation of our reconstituted 12-metre stretch of river, our aquariums, our panoramic view over the pond and the "River by Night" exhibition. You can have fun on our mini-golf course, too, or enjoy the gardens while you are here. We also stage nature events and organise fishing trips for families, friends, groups or just you."
What prompted you to seek "Famenne-Ardenne UNESCO Global Geopark Partner" status?
"We wanted to reach a different audience, people who are drawn to nature and environmental themes. Plus we were already starting to introduce geology-related themes."
What is your approach to sustainable development and environment friendly practices?
"We pay attention to saving energy wherever possible. We sort our waste and have installed LED bulbs in our exhibition."
